History

History of Best Friend Group goes back to early 1970's, when companies called Marketex (Sweden), Kvik Petcare (Denmark) and Kerox (Finland) were found around same time. These totally independent companies continued their own life until May 2000, when they or their successors were bought by Vital Petfood Group in Denmark.

Based onto revised strategy and understanding of pet business, Best Friend Group was demerged from Vital Petfood Group April 2008. Headquarters of BFG have been placed to Kuopio, Finland.
